New tablet PCs in 2012 lack power

New tablet PC chip is still not released and the price of tablet PCs gets cheaper and cheaper that new tablet PCs in 2012 lack power.

The price becomes cheaper and cheaper since Allwinner A10 is released, which will go against the development of whole tablet PC industry.

Most tablet PCs are based on open molds and open chips. Most manufactures must fight price war in order to get more order forms.

At present, the manufactures do their best to control cost from molds, chips and screens. Still, the total order forms continue to rise. Though they have lower profit, the manufactures can make money from more order forms.

In next months, the competition will be keen. Allwinner will release A13 which is only $5.

VIA8650 chips sells for about $42 that 7-inch capacitive tablet based on this chip will sell for less than $48 in next few months.

VIA will release VIA8850 in next month in order to compete with Allwinner A13.

RK2906 will also be released to compete with Allwinner A13.

In the future, the profit of the tablet PC will be less than 5%.

Some manufactures try to develop new markets.  Shenzhen Jinxing has released some special tablet PCs for games. But they must cooperate with the professional software company. Saayi has released the special tablet PC for children. Other manufactures want to develop big-inch tablet PCs, now the big-inch tablet PCs must load LINUX OS or Android OS. They can’t break through until the Windows8 is released which supports ARM.

iPad starts the tablet times, but unfortunately Shenzhen manufactures sell tablet PCs as a upgraded MP4.
